Biography

Havard is a seasoned campaigner with over a decade’s experience of assisting organisations, individuals and community groups communicate their aspirations for policy change.

With experience ranging from working on major transport projects to running a successful campaign to save the local library from closure, Havard understands how to influence policy makers at all levels. He has a successful track record of campaigning at both Westminster and Brussels in areas including constitutional affairs, taxation, transport and infrastructure.

Having spent much of his career working in the field of transport, Havard has worked with some of the world’s largest transport operators and helped in getting environmentally friendly legislation enacted.

Havard was twice elected by Londoners and held office for eight years in the London Borough of Brent. He represented one of the most ethnically diverse wards in London and is experienced at dealing with community relations, planning and development issues.

A graduate in Law and Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, Havard presently works in consumer financial rights. He is Chairman of Hampstead and Kilburn Conservative Association and a Council Member of the Bow Group think tank.
